Kuching Dec 2013

These are the talks from Kuching. A bit different though because half of those talks are a mixture in Hokkien and English!! Circumstaces of the retreat demands the talks to be delivered in Hokkien (my native tougue). Well I think its an oppurtunity for me to be connected to the non-English speaking yogis although my Hokkien is kind of 'rugged' to their ears but the message got through (mostly, I think.....rather I hope!).

If you have any suggestions or to correct my vocab, please drop your comments below. Sadhu.

Santisukharama Vassa 2013

This blog has been inactive a sometime. Time to dust the 'cobwebs'.

These are the talks from my recent Vassa retreat from Mid July to Mid Oct 2013 in Santisukharama.

I touched on various topics but the main portion of those 50 over talks and guided meditation are on paticca samuppada, usually translated as dependent origination or interdependent origination. This topic is based on Mahatanhasankhaya Sutta from Majjhima Nikaya. Normally I would tuned the talks to the benefits of the yogis i.e how to note or observe the flow the vipassana objects as (and when to see the objects as) paticca samupadda. But there some portion especially towards the end of the talks (where this paticca samuppada deals when the future) I discussed on the various types and functions kamma.

Happy listening (.........but be patience though, the talks are connected to one and another - just like paticca samuppada!).
