ante Gavesi will be conducting a 3-month intensive Vipassana meditation retreat in Santisukharama, Kota Tinggi, Johor.

Dhamma talks and personal interviews will be given daily or on alternate days.

Yogis are encouraged to stay at least 10 days or more, will be better if up to 3 months.

Below are maps to guide you if you are coming from the north of Peninsular Malaysia to Santisukharama by car.


  1. Map 1 to 6 will guide you from North-South Highway to Santisukharama in Kota Tinggi. Click the maps to open to a new window. From there you can print them out.










If you are taking a flight, these information may help you.

  1. From Senai airport take the airport bus (orange color) to City Square in Johor Bharu. From there, take the Causeway Link bus No. 66B. This bus will take you right until the Kota Tinggi bus terminal, approximately an hour ride.
  2. From Senai airport take the Airport Bus to Larkin bus station in Johor Bharu. Then from Larkin bus terminal, there are 5 buses for you to choose to Kota Tinggi.
    • i) Causeway Link (yellow) - No 66 (without 'B').
    • ii) Transit Link (white and red).
    • iii) Maju (white and blue).
    • iv) Mara Liner (maroon).
    • v) GP Express.
    The better ones would be i), iv) and v) because they will reach Kota Tinggi faster, approximately 1 hour.
  3. From Senai airport you can also take a taxi directly to Santisukharama. It will cost you RM70 per car (no metre). Even 3 or 4 person will also be the same charge. Provide the driver with map 4, 5 and 6.
If you are taking a bus, then these information may help you.
  1. If you are coming from Puduraya in KL, then take Mara Liner or Transnational to reach directly to Kota Tinggi. Mara Liner is better than the other one. The cost is RM32.
  2. If you coming from anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia, outstation buses will reach Larkin bus terminal in Johor Bharu. Then from Larkin bus terminal, there are 5 buses for you to choose.
    • i) Causeway Link (yellow) - No 66 (without 'B').
    • ii) Transit Link (white and red).
    • iii) Maju (white and blue).
    • iv) Mara Liner (maroon).
    • v) GP Express.
    The better ones would be i), iv) and v) because they will reach Kota Tinggi faster, approximately 1 hour.

When you reach Kota Tinggi bus terminal, then you take a taxi to Santisukharama which is about 3km away from town. The cost is around RM6-10, negotiable. Please check map 4, 5 and 6. Or could tell the taxi driver this 'Tokong Buddha on the way to Air Terjun'. Any problem then contact Sister Sam.
