Rathavinita Sutta - Discourse on the Relay Chariots discusses about a yogi's development or mental purification as he progresses on the path of vipassana insight. As he goes through different stages of purification or insight knowledge, he may encounter various challenging and difficult experiences or even seductive and pleasant mental states. The yogi must learn to encounter them properly and not to be attached or interpret the various nature of mental and physical phenomena if not he may fall into the 'mental traps' and progress is halted. The yogi must keep on sustaining the practice until he reaches the ultimate goal, Nibbana.
